Add Some Hot Glass to Your Special Event
East Falls Glassworks would love to host your next special event. Whether its a birthday party, a girl's night out, corporate team-building or any other special event, we will add a little hot glass and make sure the event will be a memorable one. We have activities designed for all ages; each of your guests can design their own work of glass art to take home as a keepsake. We provide a dramatic demonstration of glass blowing skills, explaining the process and answering any questions. Then we involve the event participants into the hot glass action.
Exciting Demonstrations and Educational Tours
Our experienced glassblowers can entertain your group with demonstrations of many different glassblowing techniques. We can explain the technical details and equipment or give a special 'behind-the-scenes' tour of a glassblowing studio. We're happy to customize the experience to your groups' interests. In the past we have done tours and demos for school groups, scouting troops, home-school groups, corporate teams, church groups and glass enthusiast organizations.
Glass Blowing Options for all Ages and Abilities
Give us a call or pay us a visit; we will discuss some of the possible options. There are possibilities for almost any size group. The amount of individual glass 'hands-on' time will depend on the number and age of participants. Activities can include the creation of unique sand molds, or color combinations which will be captured forever in hot glass. Time and ability permitting, each participant can make their own glass paperweight or colorful glass vase.You (or your caterer) can provide the food, or we will be happy to coordinate with the bakery or one of the local restaurants. The event can be a couple of hours or could be all day. Sherman Mills has plenty of free on-site parking. Our location is ideal; the studio convenient to all areas of Philadelphia, including the Main Line, Chestnut Hill, the suburbs and New Jersey.
Cost for the event will be determined up-front and will vary depending on the duration, the number of East Falls Glassworks staff required and the planned activities. Feel free to call or email and we can create an event the participants will fondly remember.
