Reticello/Sea Horse Goblet

Demonstrating Artist:Elio Quarisa
Assistant:Class Participants
Date:July 2, 2006

Maestro Elio Quarisa creates a detailed seahorse stemmed goblet, using the reticello technique for the cup and the foot. This is an extremely technical example of Venetian glass blowing techniques and showcases Elio's virtuosity. This goblet was one of the demonstration pieces made during the Master Class workshop that Elio taught. You can see more pictures of and information about this class on the class wrap-up web page.
